About Jasmine Gill
I’m Jasmine Gill, founder of EvolvExplore — an EMCC-accredited leadership coach and optometrist with over twenty years’ experience in healthcare.
I support NHS, healthcare and public-sector leaders who are navigating complexity, influence and change. Many of the leaders I work with are highly capable and deeply committed. Their challenge is rarely a lack of expertise. More often, it is the pressure of leading within demanding systems: influencing stakeholders, navigating hierarchy, making decisions with incomplete information and staying grounded while structures around them continue to shift.
EvolvExplore was created to offer leaders a calm, reflective and strategic space to think clearly, strengthen their influence and lead with greater intention.
A healthcare-informed coaching practice
My work is shaped by more than twenty years in healthcare, including clinical and leadership experience as an optometrist.
That background gives me a grounded understanding of professional responsibility, patient care, governance, service pressure and the emotional labour of working in systems where decisions matter.
I understand the reality of leading in environments where people are balancing quality, risk, resource constraints, public expectations and organisational change.
This healthcare lens sits at the heart of EvolvExplore.
Why EvolvExplore exists
I founded EvolvExplore for leaders who need space to think clearly, not simply move faster.
In complex healthcare and public-sector environments, leadership is rarely only about individual confidence. It is also about influence, relationships, culture, hierarchy, identity, organisational politics and the ability to make sense of what is happening around you.
The work supports leaders who are moving from professional expertise into broader strategic influence. This may involve stepping into a more senior role, leading through change, preparing for difficult conversations or finding a stronger voice in senior spaces.
EvolvExplore offers a calm, thoughtful and strategic space to explore those challenges with depth and practical focus.
My coaching approach
My coaching is reflective, systemic and grounded in real-world leadership.
I pay attention to the person, the role and the wider system around them. This includes stakeholder relationships, hierarchy, organisational culture, power dynamics, identity, communication patterns and the pressures shaping the leadership context.
The work may involve reflective enquiry, stakeholder mapping, exploration of assumptions, preparation for senior conversations and practical reflection between sessions.
My style is calm, thoughtful and appropriately challenging. I support leaders to slow down their thinking, see more clearly and choose how they want to lead with greater intention.
Professional background
I am an EMCC-accredited leadership coach and a registered optometrist, bringing together coaching practice, healthcare experience and a deep interest in systems, culture and leadership.
My coaching work has included supporting leaders through EvolvExplore, the NHS Leadership Academy and Know You More.
Across my work, I bring a reflective and ethically grounded approach to leadership development, with attention to the realities of complexity, power, identity, stakeholder relationships and organisational change.
